Super Sites For Adding Fun in Your Homeschool

Homeschooling is hard work, but it can be so much fun! As homeschoolers, we get to choose every day what our kids will learn AND how they learn. So, as parents, we can find lots of ways to make learning fun! I have found many helpful resources along the way. I had to share with you some great sites for your homeschool.

If your like me, you have your standard curriculum you like to use but then you like to find other things to make learning fun and exciting. Here’s where these sites come in. They are great ways to add a little more to your homeschool day.

The list of sites for your homeschool includes ideas for preschool and beyond. Most of them have ideas great for, at least, up to the tween stage. Some will work with older kids, too. I’m working on fun sites for teens to share another time.

So, let’s take a look at some great websites.

Great Sites for Your Homeschool

#1- Red Ted Art

Red Ted Art is a fantastic site for crafts in your homeschool. I love all the ideas and videos for the different activities. You can find activities for preschoolers up to teens to do.

On this site, you will find ideas for paper projects, bookmarks, origami, easy sewing projects, and more! You are sure to find something fun and useful to add to your homeschool.

# 2- Frugal Fun 4 Boys and Girls

If you ever hear your kids complain they are bored, hop on to Frugal Fun 4 Boys and Girls! Lego lovers will find so many ideas both fun and educational. You don’t need to look anywhere else.

Besides Legos, you will find so many things to make and do. Do you want to make paper ninja stars, pipe cleaner animals, or DIY ramp and garage? If those sound fun, you need to check this out.

At Growing a Jeweled Rose, you will find fun science experiments and recipes for products to play with. I have used recipes from here to make a variety of homemade paints and a slew of play dough recipes. And if you are an adventurous parent, this site has many different slime recipes, too.

Does your family love using games as a teaching tool? I know I do! Homeschool Gameschool is just the site for your homeschool if this is the case.

Not only does this site review a number of games, they also have printable games and mobile app suggestions, too. This is a go-to site for the gameschooling family.

# 5- 123 Homeschool 4 Me

Printable site

The site 123 Homeschool 4 Me has a TON of fun educational activities for kids. There are so many printable activities to make learning enjoyable. You will also find Lego activities, arts and crafts, recipes, and more. Beth, the creator of this site, has created some wonderful materials for families to use.

# 6- Happy Hooligans

Arts and crafts homeschool site

Happy Hooligans is packed with ideas. The author of the site runs a daycare and has included meaningful play ideas, arts, and crafts for kids. Her site has ideas that are beyond the preschool level. You are sure to find ideas great for even your tween.

At Happy Hooligans, you will find ideas like sharpie crafts, loom knit fingerless gloves, holiday crafts, and DIY mitten match. If you do have early learners, you will find LOTS of ideas that makes learning so much fun.

# 7- 3 Dinosaurs

Doesn’t the name sound fun?! At 3 Dinosaurs, you will find a plethora of printable activities for your young learners! There are so many activities for early learning topics like letters and numbers but also a bunch of themes to choose from. It is a great site for any homeschool with young kids and the early elementary years.

# 8- Kitchen Fun with My 3 Sons

The primary focus of Kitchen Fun with My 3 Sons is cooking. You can find cooking and baking projects to do with your kids or things to make for them. She also provides great meal ideas, too. It should be noted, this site has some fun craft ideas like salt dough recipes and rock painting. So, it is more than just a cooking site.

Super Websites to Help Your Homeschool

Most of these sites I have been using for years. Homeschool Gameschool is newer, but all the other sites I used with my kids or in my preschool. I have found all of them so helpful in making learning fun. Check them out and tell me what you think!
