Today I wanted to share a Fun Friday in photos. While homeschooling, I like to incorporate a Fun Friday activity or activities. So, what is more fun than going on a troll hunt?!
Here in Maine, the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens not only have gorgeous flowers but huge trolls to search for. This was our first time looking for them. It is new this year.
We enjoyed the wonderful flowers, but honestly, the kids wanted to see the Trolls. They are really HUGE! The artist, Thomas Dambo, made them out of recycled wood. They were mesmerizing to see. Take a look.
With Fun Friday field trips like this, there are also so many learning opportunities. For today, though, it was just for fun!
