My kiddos are teens now, but I love coming up with fun things for younger kids. I’m a kid at heart. So, here is what is inside the Back-to-School Worksheets.

All About Me Back to School Worksheet

Back to school isn’t complete without an All About Me worksheet. This is a simple activity but will be fun to look back on when the kids are older to see their interests and goals at this time.

Back to School Worksheet: Coat of Arms

When I was a classroom teacher, I always did a Coat of Arms at the beginning of the school year. It is an excellent way for kids to be creative. They decorate their shield with pictures or words that share a little about themselves. It can be things they like, hobbies, family, favorite foods, etc.

Back to School Puzzle Fun

In this simple activity, kids draw a scene on the puzzle of something really fun they did over the summer. It is a great way to capture summer memories and start a discussion on all the great things kids did over the summer.

You can print the puzzles on cardstock for more durability and even laminate them.

Bookmarks

Get kids into reading with some cute bookmarks. Print them off on cardstock and laminate so they will last longer.

Kids can decorate them more by punching a hole in the top and adding a ribbon or a tassel. They can even personalize the back.

Another suggestion would be to put them on different colored paper for backing.

Back to School Worksheet- Coloring Page

Lastly, you will find a coloring page. Kids color the back-to-school worksheet and fill in their grade level for the year. You can hang them up, use them for back-to-school pictures, or covers for their portfolios. It’s up to you.
