As part of the Homeschool Review Crew, I had the opportunity to review personalized gifts by CrossTimber. Since my family loves reading, I decided to review CrossTimber’s Name Bookmarks. I also received their AmazingName Print Activity Sheets which was a hit with my son. 

For the review, I was able to pick out five bookmarks and an AmazingName Print Activity Sheets for one child. Let me share my experience with this company and more about their products. 

CrossTimber- Personalized Gifts

CrossTimber is a company that researches names and provides many different personalized name products. They offer personalized name plaques, name cards, name bookmarks, and more.

Do you have a name you don’t think they will find the meaning for?

Don’t worry. On their site, they mention they have researched over 10,000 names and haven’t found the meaning for only two. Not bad. It is quite remarkable, especially with so many different names today. 

After placing your order, you should get your product within 10 days. I know mine easily arrived within that given time.

Personalized Name Bookmarks

For the review, I went to CrossTimber’s site for name bookmarks. When you are ready to create your bookmark, you will click on Choosing a Design and Quote for Your Bookmark. It will walk you through the whole process!

However, they have a number to call or a chat button on the website to help, too. I didn’t need help, but it was nice to know it so easily available.

As mentioned, I didn’t have any problems ordering my bookmarks. The tabs at the top of the Choosing a Design page were easy to follow. I browsed the Top 10 and then moved through the different categories to choose the type of quote and background I wanted. It was fairly simple if you read through everything. 

Backgrounds for Your Personalized Gifts

You have many options for backgrounds. The categories are as follows:

• Symbolic/Meaningful
• People
• Outdoors
• Creatures

You will find many choices under each tab. 

Quotes

To further personalize your bookmarks, you will choose a category you would like for your quote. You can choose a quote from one of the following categories.

• Presidential 
• Famous Author
• Bible verse
• Character Quality
• Custom Text on the Front

Lastly, you fill in the name, and your order is complete.

My Experience with CrossTimber Name Meaning Bookmarks

For this review,  I chose five different names. One for each member of my family and one for my father (as a Christmas gift). I loved how easily I could personalize the bookmarks to fit each person. 

I chose presidential quotes, author quotes, and character quality quotes. Next, I tailored each background to fit each person’s personality or interests. Take a look.

The bookmarks have good coloring and are well laminated. They should stand up to use over time. I am happy with our bookmarks. Plus, it is fun having bookmarks that let everyone know what their name means. 

AmazingName Print Activity Sheets

As part of the review, we received AmazingName Print Activity Sheets. My son, being the youngest, received these. It is a fun packet of handwriting practice, mazes, word games, coloring sheets, and more. Most of the sheets involve the child’s name or things about names. 

My son, who is 11, liked the activity sheets. Even at his age, he still found plenty that interested him. The packet has activities to appeal to many different age groups and abilities.
