Achievements
Over the weekend, we were finally able to celebrate some of our kids’ achievements. Back in March, my son earned his Arrow of Light, the highest award of Cub Scouts. He also moved from Cub Scouts to Scouts. We couldn’t hold the ceremonies since everything shut down.
In the meantime, my son and daughter worked hard. BOTH moved up two scouting ranks. So when we were able to celebrate this weekend, both kids had a lot to celebrate.
Even though the celebrations were delayed, it was still important to make sure they got their recognition for all their hard work. I think even more so than usual with everything going on in the world. The kids have missed out on so much already.
We found our time to finally celebrate!
